Brief
As part of our design approach for the ground breaking ‘iCon’ product range for Airflow, Maddison was asked to significantly reduce manufacturing costs using our global sourcing network.

Outcome
Maddison undertook a procurement study and short listed 8 potential manufacturers in the Far East. Factory inspections and discussions identified one highly suitable manufacturing partner in Malaysia. Maddison assisted in setting up, and liaising throughout, the tooling and manufacturing stages. The level of cost reduction was significant exceeding the objectives.
