Reliable, elegant self watering 'Herb' Pot Maddison/Stewarts collaboration

Brief
Research identified a need and market for a simple, reliable and elegant self-watering system for healthy container plants.

Outcome
A reservoir based design combined with a unique wicking system which reliably transfers water to the soil was developed. A wicking material was sourced and tested in trials supervised by a leading horticulturalist. The proven technology was designed, developed and patented.

A licensing deal was negotiated with garden product manufacturer, Stewarts to make and distribute ‘Herb’ a domestic kitchen pot for healthy herbs. For stockists please contact Stewart’s website.
