Design Council: Technology transfer design initiative

A pilot for technology transfer within
the Designing Demand programme

David Maddison has been appointed by the Design Council as mentor to their Designing Demand initiative. He contributes to their programme of work advising academia and industry on design methodologies - and how they can improve the process of new product and business development.

ISIS Innovation piloted the scheme as part of plans to extend Designing Demand, the Design Council’s business support programme, to the technology transfer sector. Maddison helped by mentoring three research teams who each championed one new technology.
